Here is my Fearless picture of one of my 12 year old twin sons. Matthew was born at 28 weeks and weighed only 2lbs. He had a 10% chance of survival due to premature rupture of the membranes at 14 weeks. The doctors did not think he would survive or ever walk due to severe hip and leg problems. Through the grace of our God he is a perfect 12 year old along with his twin, Andrew. This is him jumping off a cliff at Crater Lake NP into Crater Lake.

For 4 years my now 12yo daughter and I sat by helplessly as we watched her
mother and my wife deteriorate until her death in March 2007.

Two days after her collapse in 2003 I received a message from a dear church
family member. She gave me Jeremiah 29. FUnny thing was nobody knew where my wife was. And the message came while my wife had just arrested for the 2nd time. The message was, “Jeff, God told me to call you. He said something terrible is happening and wanted me to give you Jeremiah 29. Don’t be afraid…I am with you”.

I never found out how this church member knew where we were…neither could she have known the events as they were transpiring.

From that day forth, I never feared again. God taught me the power of faith
and a faith that leads to loving others. God taught me without His prescence
in my life that indeed most of life is vanity.

He led me to a life of service and a testimony that helps me to indeed
understand and share others burdens.
